Things to do in the Trossachs

The TrossachsWithin a ten mile radius of your self catering cabin, there are plenty of activities that you can take part in to get the most from your stay.

Walking

As the Loch Lomond area - in fact the whole of the Trossachs - offers  stunning views and scenery that you can't find anywhere else in the world, the area surrounding your lodge is extremely popular with walkers and climbers alike.

If you like walking we have miles of forest walks just a short distance from the Lodges in the Loch Ard and Loch Achray forests. Ben Lomond is just a 15 minute drive and is the most southerly Munro in Scotland (over 3000ft). Most of these walking routes are also suitable for cycling.

Other Activities

If walking or climbing don't appeal, you are sure to find another activity to get involved in whilst visiting The Trossachs. Within ten miles of your self catering cabin, the Trossachs offers Golf, Fishing, Water Sports, Horse Trekking, Quad Biking, Off-road Driving, Abseiling, Cliff Jumping and Mountain Biking.

Places to Visit in The Trossachs

There is a local whisky distillery at Glengoyne  and within a 10 minute drive is the Aberfoyle woollen mill shop.  Callander is a few miles further, where you will have an enjoyable day out.
