Loch Lomond Holiday Lodges
Benview Holiday Lodges are located near Loch Lomond, in the Scottish Trossachs. The delightful self catering cottages are situated an area of outstanding natural beauty, overlooking the Ben Ledi hills.
The site of the holiday cottages is ideally situated for exploring the surrounding Trossachs countryside, including Loch Lomond, whilst still being conveniently situated for shops and amenities. The area is also quiet and peaceful, making it the ideal spot to visit for a quiet getaway, or a romantic weekend.
Things to do in the Trossachs
As our holiday lodges are so near to Loch Lomond, many of our visitors spend their time visiting the Loch and the surrounding towns and villages, like Balloch, Drymen, Helensburgh, Gartmore, Buchlyvie, Balmaha, Luss, Callander and Aberfoyle, where there are no shortages of places to visit, or to have an enjoyable lunch or evening meal in one of the many pubs and restaurants on and around Loch Lomond. In fact, we are only within 20 minutes drive to Glasgow and 45 minutes drive to Edinburgh, so if you wish to explore further afield, the lodges are still ideally located!
There is no shortage of out door activities in the area. Walkers and cyclists will probably already know of the numerous opportunities on our doorstep, but we are also near some excellent golf courses, fabulous spots for fisherman, not to mention sailing, kayaking, canoeing, pony trekking, climbing, and visiting famous Scottish historical sites and place of interest. There are no shortages of things to do in the Trossachs, and one of our holiday cabins makes the ideal base.
Self Catering Holiday Cabins
Our Self Catering Holiday Lodges are exceptionally well-appointed. Each lodge features a private garden with garden furniture and a barbeque.
On the holiday lodge site, we offer our guests the free use of our hot tub, which is housed in it's own lodge and can accommodate 6 people.
Those who appreciate luxury while away from home will not be disappointed!
Each self catering holiday cabin is fitted with a modern, fully functional kitchen, complete with a modern washing machine, cooker and microwave.
All cooking utensils and crockery are supplied. Each holiday cabin also comes complete with a Television and DVD player and access to Sky TV.
When renting one of our Loch Lomond holiday cabins, all you have to bring with you are some groceries and the clothes you want to wear during your stay!
Restaurant and Coffee Shop
If you don't wish to spend your holiday time cooking your own meals, during your time with us, there is a restaurant and coffee shop, selling everything from snacks to full breakfasts and lunches - as well as plenty of delicious home baking. Also on the holiday cabin site is a traditional Scottish gift shop, which offers ladies clothing and gifts.
The owners of the Trossachs holiday lodges live on the site and are always happy to help and assist you if required.
